The guests for this week's Running Man episode are Park Myung Soo and IU. The concept this week is wolf and lamb, which might be equivalent to Myung Soo's role in variety shows (wolf) and IU's innocent image (lamb).
Yoo Jae Suk - IU - Lee Kwang Soo are in a group together.
Monday couple (Ji Hyo and Gary) plus Ji Suk Jin in one group.
and Haha, Myung Soo, and Jong Kook in one group for old time's sake. They were Ha-Myung-Kuk in the famous X-man variety show (also in SBS) back then.
For this episode, it is an individual race. However, they were teamed with each other first during the preliminary rounds. Each player would choose between two cards, wolf and lamb. Afterwards, they have to guess how many of the players chose wolf or lamb.
This is the initial count of wolf and lamb pickers. Monday couple both bet on this count.
Each winner in the game in the preliminary rounds would have the chance to know how many players chose wolf or lamb. The winner also gets to change their cards to match with the bet they put on how many would choose wolf or lamb card.
On their way to the location of the first game, (poem genius) Park Myung Soo makes a poem for 'Running Man.'
Before starting the first game, these two elders had a quick rumble. They played the "Of course" game that was popular in the past variety show X-man. Ji Suk Jin lost, because he got all "sensitive" with Myung Soo calling him weak. Hahaha!
The first game was find the odd display in the museum. Once they found one out of the many, they will run towards the hanging microphone and say what the odd display is.
For this round, Ha-Myung-Kuk won.
Because of their win, they got to know the current number of wolf and lamb cards, which was 5-4. Haha changed his card from lamb to wolf, so that his bet, 6-3, would win. Both Haha and IU had the same bet.
The next game was a chair stacking game, while another team member sit on the chair of doom shouting "a-woo." Before the "a-woo" sound from a team member ends, the other two must finish stacking the chairs and bring them outside the restaurant.
IU's team, because of IU's amazing vocal range, won first place. The second team to win was Ha-Myung-Kuk. IU's team gets to change their cards, and also gets to know the current count of wolf-lamb cards. The second place, Ha-Myung-Kuk, gets the chance to know the current count of wolf-lamb cards also.
After Kwang Soo knew about the number of cards, he took the chance to change his card from lamb to wolf. He made it so that his bet is in the current running for winner, together with Jong Kook.
The next game will make use of this octagon ring (UFC ring) for the name tag ripping competition.
The last game was the name tag ripping competition, which was done one on one on one between the teams. Each team would pick a member to represent their team for each round, and the catch is that the other teams wouldn't know who the representative for the other teams are.
Kwang Soo vs Myung Soo vs Gary
Yoo Jae Suk vs Kim Jong Kook vs Ji Suk Jin
Song Ji Hyo vs IU vs Haha
In this round, Gary, Jong Kook, and Ji Hyo won, respectively. This gives the blue team 2 wins and white team 1 win.
IU vs Myung Soo vs Suk Jin
Kwang Soo vs Haha vs Ji Hyo
In the second round, IU and Ji Hyo won, respectively. Blue team now has 3 wins, and both red team and white team has 1 each. Blue team is now in first place, so there's just one last game for the two teams (red and white).
Jae Suk vs Jong Kook
This is the final game in this ring, and the two "leaders" of Running Man fight for second place. Kwang Soo looks so hilarious doing that and like Jong Kook said, he looks like a weird monster. Hahaha! Definitely is, while on that.
Jong Kook won in this round, but Jae Suk proved that he isn't a weakling. He also almost ripped Jong Kook's name tag. This win makes white team second place, thus making them have the chance to see the current count. Blue team gets to both change cards and see the current count.
The final location was at a swimming pool, where the players have to stand at the edge of a diving board. In here, they have to reveal the cards that they chose, and the winner will then be revealed.
After the changing of cards during the preliminary games, ultimately, there were two winners. The count of wolf and lamb cards was brought back to its original count, 5-4, which then makes the Monday Couple the winners in this episode.
Kang Gary and Song Ji Hyo, with the vote of 5-4 (wolf-lamb), wins the gold. Ji Hyo takes home the gold again! Haha. As expected. These two can really get married now and buy their newlywed house. (how we wish)
