One of those upcoming posts post.

I am really getting tired of planning things in my head cause normally, it doesn't get followed and disappears to nowhere. Hence this post! Since I am currently a bum (yes I know you're judging me) I have nothing else to do but stare at my computer and laugh or cry or get scared. I watch a lot of movies/dramas/sitcoms these days that I could make a review or a rant post about them. I will do that considering that I haven't posted much since the day I started this blog.

Cheers!

Singapore October 2012 Day 2!

Day 2 was basically a trip to Sentosa Island where the Universal Studios is. We bought our ticket online for this day, that's why we were in this island the whole day. I confess that this trip to the Universal Studios was what I'd been looking forward to.

Of course, the essential photo-taking at the entrance where the moving earth is.

As soon as we went in, Po greeted us!

Chilling in New York, USS.

My dad went drilling.

Well isn't this my university? Hence the posture. (Archer)

Photo with a transformer. Is this Optimus? Best ride EVER! Went on it twice. (Transformer ride)

Met this guy with a nice body in Ancient Egypt.

We then ate Hainanese Chiken at the Jurassic Park. Food was good though pricey. It was definitely hot on this day. Though it ended up raining (lightly) in the afternoon.

Welcome to the kingdom of Far Far Away!

We waited for almost an hour for these two to show up! We were too tired to wait for Puss though..

Shrek's shack. Damn huge.

Frankenstein's Monster! AHHCKK!

We decided to leave USS because of the rain and went to discover other places in Sentosa island. I'm an avid fan of air transportation wherein you can see a great view of the place (though I'm quite scared) so we went to ride the cable car!

It says so on the cable car!

Was it scary? Huh?

The freebies that we got from riding.

The huge Merlion.

We ate snacks near this place and guess what we had? Paratha! I had been craving for that since then and we love that food so we tried it and it was gooood~

So that's it for day 2! It was pretty tiring as we walked all day. I'm also out of energy to write so I'm pushing my last entry for the Singapore trip tomorrow!

Singapore October 2012 Day 1

After 3 months, I've decided to blog about our family's trip to Singapore. The reason I've been delaying writing about this is because I don't have Adobe PS Lightroom. I've been a Mac user for 8 months now and I really haven't been looking for Mac versions of Lightroom that's why I don't have one. I use Lightroom to enhance photos from my DSLR but now I'm sad that these photos are going in my blog RAW. Well, let's start the trip!

Here's a gratuitous photo of myself at Changyi International Airport.

My family and I went to Singapore last October just days after my graduation. We were there for 4 days (I know, it's too short!) mainly because we don't have that much free time (not my parents and sister anyway, I have too much free time now). Just days before our trip, we planned our itinerary and we kind of followed it but that's just how itineraries go; you make it, but all sorts of problems come up in the actual vacation.

First stop: Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Reason? Well, my mom insisted that we go there first to buy tickets for Sky Park (at the top of the hotel). Funny story though. We don't need to reserve for tickets, we could just walk-in on the day that we want to go. That's why we just went around the mall near the hotel and decided to go to a place where the weird hotel with the boat on top (that's what I used to call it) is visibly photogenic so that my sister could take photos with her posing near it. That place was near the Esplanade.

Cakes at Sweet Spot. They also have yummy & colorful macarons! We ended up buying lots.

Underground train station near the mall or within it.

Well yeah. The obligatory photo with the hotel. It was damn hard to get a shot with my face on it cause of the lighting.

We waited for these awesome lights to come and dance.

And that's where the Merlion with the water coming out of its mouth is located.

The hotel with a boat on top.

Another GPOY. This bridge leads to where the Merlion is.

A vacation in Singapore is not complete without a photo of this. Bonus: the Marina Bay Sands Hotel at the background!

Bigbang Alive Tour in Manila

Writing about this is too late but just in time for The Final of Bigbang's Alive Tour in Seoul. Since Alive Tour Memories is trending worldwide in Twitter, I will take the opportunity to blog.

Pre-concert jitters.

First off is my rants about the concert. I didn't want to write about it because it will just make me furious again but I shall share this to the world. I regretted not lining up early to get inside the arena simply because I thought that having a seat in the VIP section would grant us easy access in entering the arena.  It was raining and not even cold but humid outside that I don't want to waste my time lining up and so, because of the management's fault (and I blame them big time), many of us were stuck outside as Bigbang started to come out on stage. I was shocked and couldn't believe that I'm missing the opening that I didn't believe at first but as it was confirmed, everyone ran inside and thank goodness the VIP area is on the ground floor. The area was definitely crowded with all the security and fans gathering near the barricades and standing on their designated chairs (or not). My friend and I were panicking and looking for our designated chairs which we painstakingly bought on the first day of selling in the PH. And I wouldn't even dare tell the story of how we got our tickets. I.wouldn't. (It was damn exhausting and frustrating). After looking in the dark, we notice that everyone did not really care where they were standing (on chairs) and we just decided to stay near the barricade (which is the best, ever). Now here comes the best part.

While we didn't get to properly watch the Fantastic Baby performance (which was definitely regrettable, and them going up from those tubes), we were properly geared with our cameras just near the stage when they started singing How Gee and going around in a segway. My bias, Kwon Jiyong (G-dragon), went to our side and looked so sexaaay that my friend took the best photo ever.

At this moment, I took my time to look at his jawline and smooth skin. I think my hands got paralyzed and forgot to take photos because I was just too starstruck. Now this is a perk of being in the VIP area but it was really hard looking at their performance because they usually performed on stage 1 (we were in stage 2) and in the middle of stage 2 (we were on the left side). We only get to see them up-close when they go to our side. Fortunately, they all went to our side, never forgetting to greet their fans.

This photo of GD was when they sang Haru Haru and letting us sing (I think, if I can trust my memory). This was really like a dream. When I was standing there, looking up to him, I didn't think that he was real. I feel like I'm still watching a Youtube video of their performance on Inkigayo or their concert in Seoul. It was definitely surreal. Shortly after this photo, GD drops his microphone and picks it up shyly.

Now, this photo was when TOP was giving a used towel to a fan near me. I was so happy yet jealous as this was the first time any member had given anything for the fans. I can say that this made everyone in the stadium jealous as most of the Filipino VIPs are TOP biased (TOP got the most cheers. Even I shouted for him).

I couldn't get any decent photos of Daesung and Seungri, although I have decent fancams of them. One video even catched Daesung lookin at my camera for a split second. I have to say, my favorite performance was Cafe. It was just so.. I cannot even find the words to describe it. But every performance was perfect for me because they're Bigbang.

How to start explaining this photo? Basically, Taeyang went to our side MANY times and decided to give his jacket to one of us. I am not sure if he was trying to give it to us or to other fans behind us but it ended up on my hands and the people at the back started the tug-of-war. My friend and her sister fell down and I was left and I felt pathetic doing that so I let go. Youngbae wasn't my bias anyway. But still, I regretted that for weeks. The girl felt bad because everyone wanted to get that jacket so I asked her to let me take a photo of the jacket.

After that brawl, we continued watching and got a GREAT view of Taeyang/Youngbae's body. I was so sure that I got it on video but then my phone acted up and didn't save the video. But I was so glad I had taken a good look (hihi). May I also comment on Seungri's handsomeness? Oh dear God he's gorgeous. He was the most good looking in person but still GD's my bias. Daesung on the other hand was so cheerful and gave the most fan service next to Youngbae. He definitely looked better than when he was still in Family Outing (His skin looks good too; his skin regimen worked).

My final thoughts on the concert

Everything was so spectacular. Although some people said that there were technical glitches, I didn't notice it at all. I was so focused on looking at them and taking in the awesomeness. I was glad to see them perform like they would at every country that they've been. Even though I didn't get to see the opening, I was still satisfied and that experience made me look forward to watching another Bigbang performance in the future because I want to see them looking fresh and performing the opening. Finally, there were ups and downs in this whole experience but still, being thankful for seeing them will take over my feelings as a VIP.

P. S.

Shout out to those who attended the Finale in Seoul! Please share your experiences too and I'm definitely jealous of you all who saw GD's 1+1 aegyo!

I'M A VIP UNTIL WHENEVER
