Tuesday Running Man: Episode 165, Search for Running Man's Fangirl

Running Man has no celebrity guest for this week. Rather, a Running Man fangirl will be the main character in the missions for this episode. In the preview last week, it was revealed that "Kwang Soo's father" will be coming out in this episode. Indeed, will his father be present? Let's find out.

The first mission was autograph signing. It's different though, and more complicated than the past autograph signing missions. The members each have their own "autograph vending machine" (they are inside it) and the people will not be seeing the members personally.

The citizens will choose among the 7 members whose autograph they want, and if who the citizen chose is inside the vendo, they get to have an autograph of course. However, should the people pick a member who isn't in the vendo, the member will give a 'sold out' sign instead.

The members, while waiting for the citizens to come to their booths, got bored and drew on each others' faces in the vendo.

Jae Suk and Ji Hyo finished first, and Jae Suk decided to stop by Ji Suk Jin's vendo and pretended to be a citizen. Jae Suk chose Ji Suk Jin and then Suk Jin gave an autograph, but Jae Suk pretended that he doesn't want it and returned it. The look on Suk Jin's face was that of an embarrassed yet somehow angry when Jae Suk decided to go inside the vendo, which surprised Ji Suk Jin. Haha! Poor wanko hyung. Jae Suk really loves doing pranks. 

Jae Suk, Ji Hyo, and Kim Jong Kook arrived first at the second location and when Kwang Soo arrived, he noticed that he's familiar with the location. In the screenshot above, he reveals that the place is his father's furniture factory.

When they found out that it was Kwang Soo's father's factory, they immediately went to his father's office. In there, they met Kwang Soo's real father.

When Kim Jong Kook arrived, Kwang Soo complained to his father about Kim Jong Kook's bullying. It was funny that his real father appeared in this episode, and Kwang Soo acting like a kid to his dad was cute.

After getting the clue from Kwang Soo's dad, they found the fangirl's book full of pictures and descriptions of places in Namyang-ju, which is Kwang Soo's home town. 

The members wanted to get 'closer' to the fangirl by compressing and even sitting on each others' laps. Their mission is to find the fangirl and take a picture with her. The first one to get his or her photo taken with the fangirl and sticks the photo to the original copy of the book, wins.

While they find out about the mission, Kwang Soo's father was looking at them and they all started to say that Kwang Soo is the main character on that day. (to please his father)

While the other members rode the taxi to the next location, these three hitched a ride from Kwang Soo's father. Haha and Jong Kook joked to Kwang Soo's father that since Kwang Soo is earning a lot these days, Kwang Soo is getting ready to give a car as a gift for his father and bags for his mother. Kwang Soo didn't let the opportunity go to waste and retaliated. He said to Haha's wife that Haha's getting ready to buy a house and lot for their family, which caused this laughter in the screenshot above.

Ji Suk Jin and Jae Suk chose the same location. It was the library, and all they had to do was answer questions based from the books that were marked with an "R" sticker. Ji Suk Jin definitely showed his hilarious side in this game.

Kwang Soo, Jong Kook, and Haha went to some office to beat the "master stapler" in stapling papers. Kwang Soo was disqualified after having finished first because he cheated on the master.

Gary and Ji Hyo went to a kiting park where they had to look for the kite that has a picture of the next location. Ji Hyo found it first.

Haha finished first, and so these two had another set of game which I wasn't quite aware of but Jong Kook took off Kwang Soo's tee in the middle of the game.

The next location was a wall climbing place. There were low, middle, and high clues and the members should climb up to the clues to be able to get it. Ji Hyo, after getting the middle clue, decided to climb again and get the high clue. She then gave the middle clue to Ji Suk Jin who failed to climb up his target, which is high. Gary also got a high clue, while Jae Suk got a middle one. Haha climbed a bit later and got a low clue.

When the five of them went ahead, these two late comers, Kwang Soo and Jong Kook, climbed the wall with only two clues left, which is middle and low. Kwang Soo was the first one to climb high and got the middle clue but dropped it and so Jong Kook stole it from him.

Gary and Jihyo were the first ones who located the fangirl's house, while Jae Suk and Kwang Soo came in later.

Here they met the fangirl's younger sister.

They found the room of the girl and found out that she's a big fan of Kwang Soo. Her name was also revealed, which is Hye Mi.

"Darie" was the one who opened the door for the two visitors, Jae Suk and Kwang Soo.

Kwang Soo found Hye Mi's room.

He was so touched that Hye Mi loves him. He even told Jae Suk that he actually recognizes her.

Hye Mi was not at home, and because it was a school day, she's indeed in school. The member had to find the original copy of the book that Hye Mi made first in school and then find Hye Mi. In the screenshot above, Gary was the first one to find the original book.

Kwang Soo found Hye Mi first, and kept her from being found by the other members, especially by Gary, who has the book. They immediately took a picture together.

Different selca styles were present, and the most funny one is the (literally) running selca. Eventually, every member got a photo with Hye Mi and then chased Gary afterwards, to stick their own pictures in the book.

Hye Mi's friends were jealous of her because he gets to be the main character. Hye Mi then mentions, "What could I do to make Kwang Soo oppa win?" Aww. It was so touching. If I were Hye Mi too, I'd make Gary win! Hahaha.

After much struggle, and several disintegrated book pages after, Ji Suk Jin sticks his and Hye Mi's photo on the book!

Ji Suk Jin's very first individual win! He definitely made history in Running Man. One hundred sixty-five episodes have passed, and it was our wanko-hyung's first individual win!

I was definitely shocked because I thought that Kwang Soo would win, but isn't this photo of Ji Suk Jin and Hye Mi more shocking? Hahahaha!

The girls had a moment with the Running Man members after the game. Ji Suk Jin even made them chant his name.

They asked Hye Mi what is it that she likes about Kwang Soo, and Hye Mi answered that when she saw him, it's like flower petals were slowly falling on him. They found it funny but I get it, Hye Mi!! 

Of course, Kwang Soo needed to give fan service after all that. The other middle school students too got their pictures taken with the other Running Man members.

Everything ended well and we must not forget that in this episode, Ji Suk Jin finally had his very first individual win! There was no preview of the episode next week, but I've read that Chun Jung Myung and Kim Min Jung will be the guests to promote their new movie, "Queen of the Night."
